[Intended Use]

This kit is used for the qualitative detection of EBV in human whole blood, plasma and serum samples in vitro.

Epstein-barr virus (EBV), human herpesvirus type 4, is a common human herpesvirus. At present, the clinical diagnosis of EBV infection mainly relies on serology and PCR detection. Serology detection is one of the most commonly used methods in clinical diagnosis, and it has certain reference value for the diagnosis of the disease. The PCR method has high sensitivity and specificity, making it become increasingly important in the clinical diagnosis of EBV infection-related diseases. In recent years, a large number of studies have proved that EBV is associated with occurrence and development of nasopharyngeal cancer, Hodgkin's disease, T/Natural killer celllymphoma, Burkitt's lymphoma, breast cancer, gastric cancer and other malignant tumors. And it is also closely associated with post-transplantlymphoproliferative disorders, PTLD, post-transplant smooth muscle tumor and acquired immunedeficiency syndrome(AIDS) related lymphoma, multiple sclerosis, primary central nervous system lymphoma or leiomyosarcoma. Due to its broad disease spectrum, EB has become the focus of research and attention of many scholars.

This kit is used to detect EB virus. The test results should not be used as the only indicator for the evaluation of the patient's condition. The condition must be comprehensively analyzed in combination with the patient's clinical manifestations and other laboratory tests.

[Storage Conditions and Shelf-life]

This kit should be stored under -18°C and protected from light, and the shelf life is 12 months (please use within the shelf life). After opening, the number of repeated freezing and thawing times is no more than 4 cycles, and it can be stored stably for 5 days when transported below -18°C and protected from light.
