Mycoplasma Pneumoniae IgM Antibody Detection Kit(Immunochromatography)
[Product Name]
Mycoplasma Pneumoniae IgM Antibody Detection Kit(Immunochromatography)
[Packaging Size]
5 tests/kit, 20 tests/kit
[Intended Use]
This kit is used for the qualitative detection of mycoplasma pneumoniae IgM antibody in human serum, plasma or whole blood in vitro, as an auxiliary diagnosis of mycoplasma pneumoniae infection.
Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP) belongs to the class Moleiophora, Mycoplasma genus, and is one of the common pathogens that cause respiratory tract infections and community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) in children and adults. The detection of mycoplasma pneumoniae is crucial for the diagnosis of mycoplasma pneumonia, and laboratory detection methods include pathogen culture, antigen detection, antibody detection and nucleic acid detection. The culture of mycoplasma pneumoniae is difficult and requires special culture medium and culture technology, which takes a long time, but it has the advantage of high specificity. Serum-specific antibody detection is currently an important method to assist in the diagnosis of mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia. Immunochromatography, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and chemiluminescence antibody detection reagents are widely used in clinical practice.
This kit uses immunochromatography to qualitatively detect mycoplasma pneumoniae IgM antibodies in human serum, plasma or whole blood in vitro. Combined with clinical and other laboratory indicators, it can be used for the auxiliary diagnosis of mycoplasma pneumoniae infection.
[Test Principles]
Mycoplasma pneumoniae IgM antibody detection kit uses the specific antigen of mycoplasma pneumoniae for tracer labeling, and uses anti-human IgM monoclonal antibody for coating as the detection line. During detection, if there is a certain concentration of mycoplasma pneumoniae antibody (IgM) in the sample, the antibody to be tested binds to the specific antigen of mycoplasma pneumoniae virus labeled by the tracer to form a complex. Under the action of chromatography, the complex moves to the detection line and is captured by the coated antibody, resulting in a red band. When the sample does not contain mycoplasma pneumoniae antibody, the antibody-antigen labeling complex will not be formed, nor will it be captured by the detection line to produce a red band. Regardless of whether the sample contains the antibody or not, a red band should appear at the quality control line(C line), as an internal control for whether the chromatography process is normal and whether the kit is invalid.
