Epidemiology
Zika virus belongs to the genus Flaviviridae, is a single-stranded positive-stranded RNA virus with a diameter of 40-70nm. It has an envelope, contains 10794 nucleotides, and encodes 3419 amino acids. According to the genotype, it is divided into African type and Asian type. Zika virus disease is a self-limiting acute infectious disease caused by the Zika virus, which is mainly transmitted through the bite of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. The clinical features are mainly fever, rash, arthralgia or conjunctivitis, and it is rarely fatal. According to the World Health Organization, neonatal microcephaly and Guillain-Barre syndrome (Guillain-Barré syndrome) may be associated with Zika virus infection.

QIAamp Viral RNA Mini Kit(52904), Nucleic Acid Extraction or Purification Reagent(YDP315-R) by Tiangen Biotech(Beijing) Co.,Ltd. The extraction should be extracted according to the extraction instructions, and the recommended extraction volume is 140 μL and the recommended elution volume is 60 μL.
Option 2.
Macro & Micro-Test Viral DNA/RNA Kit (HWTS-3004-32, HWTS-3004-48, HWTS-3004-96) and Macro & Micro-Test Automatic Nucleic Acid Extractor (HWTS-3006). The extraction should be extracted according to the instructions. The extraction sample volume is 200 μL , and the recommended elution volume is 80μL.
